
What a Delicious Snack!
Recently we were reminiscing with friends we vacationed with and somehow landed on one of the most predictable side effects of vacation.
Sugar cravings.
We shared with the friend that at home, Soni and I avoid processed sugar and artificial sweeteners altogether. Dates or fruits are our go to when we want something sweet and our bodies seem much happier about that choice.
Cynthia, the wonderful wife of this friend took the idea to another level and shared a delicious creative creation that we all loved.
It is simple. It is warm. It somehow tastes like dessert without the regret.
Here it is:
Split open an organic date & remove the pit
Add organic ghee or organic, virgin, cold pressed coconut oil (or organic unprocessed butter)
Add a pinch of mineral rich sea salt
Warm it in a toaster oven
You'll have yourself a delicious snack!
